AD Photonics provides all kinds of high precision prisms,  including Penta Prism, Right
Angle Prism, Corner Cube, Wedge Prisms and Light Pipes. The micro Penta Prism
and Right Angle Prism are widely used in optical communication, such as optical
switches. Other prisms, such as Dove Prism and Roof Prism are also available upon
request.
Penta Prism

Penta prism can deviate an incident beam without inverting or reversing to 90°. The
deviation angle of 90° is independent of any rotation of the prism about an axis
parallel to the line of intersection of the two reflecting faces.  The reflecting surfaces of
this Prisms must be coated with a metallic or dielectric coating. The standard Penta
Prism reflecting surfaces are coated with aluminum or enhanced aluminum.

Right-Angle Prisms
Right angle prisms are commonly used to achieve a 90° or
180° light path bend as shown in the right.

Corner Cube/Retro Reflectors
Retro reflectors can deviate an incident beam to 180° independly of its angle of incidence. These retro
reflectors are extremely precise providing an exact 180 degree deviation within a 3 arcsec tolerances.
This enables them to be used for high precision applications in alignment and metrology.

Precision Wedge Prisms
The wedge prisms are intended for steering laser beams. By selecting the
appropriate wedge it is simple to create a precise beam diviation without
affecting other beam parameters. If two wedges are used together with the
sloping surfaces in close proximity it is possible to produce a continuous
variation of beam deviation by counter-rotating the wedges.
Light Pipes
Light integrators (light pipes) are very important illumination components in
projection systems. The light emitted by the sources is guided inside the
pipe by total internal reflection(TIR).
Windows
Windows are optical glass with ground and polished faces that are
relatively parallel. They are used to isolate two physical environments while
allowing light to pass. AD Photoncis offer all types of windows made from
different materials, especially in CaF2, Sapphire, Germanium, BK7 and
Fused Silica.
